I am a born again christian. I could never leave God under any circumstance. Yes he is a spirit and no i cannot see him but the wonders he performs in my life are easily seen. If you are a believer then you know what i mean.

Diary of a thinking to return ex-Jw
by reniaa ini thought long and hard about posting this but the mis-information on this site finally persuaded me, i already accept many may not accept what i say on face value and get their appologist pens ready for making sure no pro-witness propaganda slips through the net on this site but here goes....... i've been on this forum for a few months my first post was about how i was thinking of returning to jw's and at my sisters recommendation to look at this site for both sides of the story before taking that step.. i faded from jw's 10/11 years ago now i left my hubby at the time divorced him to going on to have more relationships and kids, i was definately given the impression after asking on this site and with what i read that if i tried to return i might face df or at least a jc but definately a couple of elders questioning me over what i've been upto these last few years - none of these have happened.
i talked with an old jw friend (yes i do have then and she never shunned me quite happily accepted an offer of coffee from me and my asking for a chat) i told her i was interested in going back and was very frank about what i done in the last 10 years but not sure how returning was done now, she quite happily said she go ask for me to find out.. result!
she came back this week and said "all i had to do was goto meetings again" and an offer of a study was there for me if i wanted it to explore the open doubts that i had expressed i now had.. not quite the fire and brimstone welcome this site led me to believe would happen.. i will keep you posted with further updates if i feel the need to put them in future.. .

Thanks for your posts here and it was nice knowing you....PLEASE do not be tempted to ever come back to JWD or use the internet anymore once you go back, as that could hinder the help of the Holy Spirit they will be praying for on your behalf. Learn all you can about their new teachings, but ONLY use their literature, and never compare the information with any non-JW sources.....you will be much happier that way....trust me. You are about to re-enter a journey to incredible spiritual bliss, I so envy you..........good luck.............oompa

I agree with oompa Reniaa would make a wonderful jw. She has all the qualities they look for in a good witness
since she has been here she has been an apologetic for them. She has found no truth on this site as she has admitted to and her sister if a jw should be turned in to the bros as soon as possible for being an apostate.

The Bible mans word not God's
by edmond dantes inlet's see now what do we have before us, why it's the bible and a group of self importent egotistical leaders of the world wide movement known as the jehovahs witnesses.let us assume for a moment that the bible is just an ordinary book not inspired by an almighty god but inspired by mere mortals and in it are contained the words of ordinary humans who claim to be speaking from divine authority and by direction of that same authority.
suppose it is just a collection of myths and legends, we say that because there is no tangible proof otherwise, so why should we say it's from the creator when it is without a doubt written by humans.in it are words of wisdom but you can find words of wisdom all over the place and we don't claim those to be inspired by god because they are formed by mans intelligence.. as for the people who put themselves forward as leaders of a man made organisation namely the watchtower society ,they are just cooking the books of the man made bible and serving up a concoction of man made ideas leading to nowhere in particular and the worst part about it is the fact they have been doing it for over one hundred years and achieving nothing whatsoever to the betterment of the residents of this planet, in fact they can be a detriment and a hinderence to a persons progress through life.
can anyone make a list of the good achievments of the watchtower leaders over the last one hundred years?.

surely god could've come up with something more convincing?.
if the almighty had started genesis by establishing his credentials thoroughly i'd be more inclined to take the rest of the book seriously.

The Bible has so much meaning. You can read it over and over again and still be delighted by what you learn. how many of you have read a scripture and then later read it again and got more out of it? Thats because the word is alive.

To obey God we must act in such a way that pleases God. We are born again or made new. We do not live after the flesh but are led by the Spirit of God. We must do God's will and if we earnestly accept his Spirit then we are on our way to accomplishing his will. our day to day lives must reflect godly ways.
Prayer is very important in this equation. Pray to God with a pur heart. Love one another is Jesus words. How do we love each other?
Fear God and keep his commandments.Ecc.12:,13-14

Aguest, I did not say I did not believe in the Holy Spirit. It seems like you wrote all that to say you think I don't believe. I know that Jesus said he was sending us a helper. I pray to God for Holy Spirit all the time. When I read the Bible I pray for Holy Spirit to help me to understand it. I am not sure why you don't trust the Bible as God's inspired word but Holy Spirit directs and guides me through it.

This is what I love about religions like Christianity and Islam. The message is "listen to us or die". I love that sort of spiritual blackmail. (Not really.)
i think christianity is more wholesome than Islam cause mohummad was a murderer and the Koran teaches hate.
listen to us or die, well that means christians are trying to help you learn how to live a peaceful life.
